It's actually very simple! Here is what you need:
a) Get your prescription and PD measurement from your Optometrist.
b) Find the eyeglasses on this website that you like.
c) Buy them.
Q: What payment options do you accept?
We accept the following options: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Paypal or Wire transfer. All overseas orders must be paid by wire transfer or PayPal - please contact us by phone or email (sales@viziooptic.com) if you wish to pay for your purchase with a wire transfer. In some instances we may be required to request additional information for security purposes when you pay by credit card and we may contact you before your order is shipped.
Q: How long does it take for you to ship the order?
All in stock items will ship within 24 hours with exceptions for US holiday in which case it may take an additional number of days that equal the span of the holiday. Special orders may take on average 2 to 3 weeks and we will let you know if there is a delay for any reason. Because most of our eyeglasses and sunglasses are manufactured in Europe, it sometimes takes extra time to have them delivered to us if the frames are not in stock. We occasionally experience shipping delays and if we anticipate that your order will take longer than 2 weeks then we will notify you immediately.
Q: How much does your shipping cost?
Vizio Optic ships your orders by UPS. Our shipping rates are calculated for each purchase according to typical UPS rates. When you are ready to place your order, you will see the cost to ship your package via various UPS option. This charge is calculated by UPS according to the weight and dimensions of your order, and your zip code. We do not profit from shipping charges and you will be charged only UPS fees. Please contact us if you prefer that we ship your package through another carrier and we will
accommodate your request if possible. For your convenience, we added United States Postal Service (USPS) as a shipping option to reduce international shipping costs with shipping anywhere in the world for only $39.00 USD.
Please note that some destinations may charge import taxes. We are not always aware of this and may not have the ability to advise you of your destination's import taxes but you should confirm your local tax regulations and in most cases you can reclaim this charge.

Q: What is your Returns & Exchange policy?
We are happy to offer a one-time exchange only policy on the return of any eyeglass frame or sunglasses within 30 days of the shipping date. However, please note that prescription lenses are not refundable. If your new prescription lenses need to be made on an exchanged frame then we will credit 50% of the original lens price towards the cost of the new lenses. Additional shipping charges will apply.
We guarantee 100% accuracy on all prescriptions or they will be remade at no charge. And to make sure that your prescription is correct, we ask you to confirm with your Eye Doctor and ensure that you have had an eye exam within the past 6 months. If you feel that your vision has changed since your last, recent eye exam then you must reconfirm your prescription because otherwise you may not see comfortably through your prescription lenses in your new eyeglasses.
If, for any reason, you are not completely happy with any purchase, we are glad to accept returns or exchanges of any unworn items, accompanied by a receipt, postmarked up to 30 days after you have received the item. For items postmarked after 30 days, but within 45 days, we'd be glad to provide you with store credit for returned items; this credit will be for the value of the item at the time of the return.
Please contact us within 2 weeks of your purchase by email or phone and we will process an exchange. You will need to get an RMA number (Returned Merchandise Authorization) from us and then you will only need to ship back the glasses securely with insurance it for the amount of your purchase price. We will then credit your account within a few days of receiving the shipment.
We reserve the right to refuse returns under any of the following circumstances and under these circumstances, the return will be immediately sent back to the customer and is ineligible for refund:

The returned item shows signs of use or wear or scratches on the lenses

The returned item is improperly packaged by the customer (sent back without original or other tissue packaging or sent back with a damage), leading to damage that renders the item unsellable.

Eyeglasses or sunglasses are returned without their manufacturer's original case
Please note that all shipping charges for returns and exchanges are the customer’s responsibility and this includes any taxes and duties incurred from international shipments.
International Customers, please note that if you need to return an item please be sure to declare the item as "Returned Item Without Value" or we have to charge you for any duties incurred by US Customs.
Q: Is there any kind of warranty on your eyeglasses or sunglasses?
You will receive the same warranties that we get from the eyeglass and sunglass manufacturers and suppliers. All of the products are sold with a 1 year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase which covers all manufacturer defects.
Manufacturer’s defects include: structural design, hinges, welding points, and colorings. Manufacturer’s defects DO NOT include: flagrant misuse causing frame damage, scratching or tarnish; pet damage; destruction or damage by vehicle; stepping on or sitting on the frame; bending or twisting the frame; or any other damage not considered a manufacturing flaw. Certain product warranty claims are best dealt with directly with the manufacturer and not with Vizio Optic.
There is no warranty covering any neglect or misuses of the eyeglasss as mentioned above.

All frames that were "On Sale" are sold on as-is basis and without warranties. We have the right to refuse warranty claims on frames that were brought elsewhere for the prescription lenses because we have no control over other lab technicians who are not familiar with proper edging techniques used for various high-end products that we carry.
Q: Is there any kind of warranty on your lenses?
Every prescription lens we supply automatically comes with a scratch-resistant coating without any additional fees for you. However, lenses are not entirely scratch-proof and you will damage your lenses if you don’t handle them or clean them correctly. You will create surface scratches unless you care for your glasses and put them away in a case to be safe.
In the event your lenses scratch to the point you want them replaced, we offer a one time replacement of your lenses within a year of your purchase date for only 50% of the original cost of the lenses. You will also need to pay for the shipping charges when we send back the glasses. Please note that all shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility and this includes any taxes and duties incurred from international shipments.
Q: How should I take care of my glasses?
To help you care for your eyeglasses, we will include a high quality microfiber cleaning cloth and spray for you to use to clean your new glasses. Additionally, to prevent any accidents and unintended damages to your glasses you should always store them in their case which will be shipped with your order.
Q: How do I tell what frame size I need?
When selecting eyeglasses or sunglasses, you will need to know what size frame will fit you. You can find this information easily by looking at a pair of eyeglasses that you may currently own or by visiting a local optical store. You can quickly identify the frame size on any existing pair of eyeglasses by looking on the inside of the temples (the arm piece or the back of the bridge of your glasses). Below you'll find a few guiding tips to help you identify your eyeglasses.
The frame sizes are always shown in millimeters. For example, 50-18-130. The first number is the Eye Size (also known as lens width), the second number is the Bridge Size (also known as the distance between the lenses) and the last number is the Temple Length (the arm piece). Please note that all frames must be custom fitted by an optician to fit your face and its shape correctly.
Components of a Frame Size:
Eye Size: Measured from outermost edges of lenses horizontally.
Typical Sizes: 40 mm - 62mm
Bridge Size: The distance between the lenses in a frame.
Typical Sizes: 14 mm - 24 mm
Temple Length: Length of both temples or what are also known as the arm pieces.

Q: Can I Cancel My Order?
Most orders received are processed the same day. We work hard to ensure you get the best service with Vizio Optic and, once your order has been placed online or with our customer service operators, as a courtesy, we will allow up to 24 hours to cancel the order. This 24 hour cancellation policy does not apply to any orders which contain prescription lenses because lenses are customized by edging them to your eyeglasses with your own prescription and they cannot be returned once ordered. Such orders will incur a 50% cancellation fee. All other orders cancelled after 24 hours will incur a 10% restock fee.
