How many days do I have to return an item?
Frames that are eligible for a full refund can be returned within 14 days. Frames that are eligible include any frame that is purchased from our in-store inventory that does not have prescription lenses installed. Refunds will be given provided that the item is returned with its original packaging, has not been worn or damaged, and prescription lenses have not be installed.
What frames are not eligible for a full refund?
Frames that are final sale include (but are not limited to) CHANEL, Lindberg, custom made Wissing frames, discontinued frames, limited edition styles, and sale frames. Any frame that has (or had) prescription lenses installed into the frame becomes a final sale.
I would like to special order a frame that is currently not shown on your website. Can you help me?
Absolutely. As an authorized dealer, we have access to all the brands shown on our website. Please keep in mind that any frame that is not part of our current inventory may only be eligible for store credit or an exchange, once it is returned. Frame styles from previous collections may still be special ordered per your request are considered final sale.
Will I be notified if the frame I am buying is not eligible for a full refund or is a final sale frame?
Yes, we will most definitely notify you before processing the order.
Can I buy the frame and have my local optician take care of the lenses?
Most definitely. Just please keep in mind that once prescription lenses are mounted into the new frame you purchased from Vizio Optic, this frame is no longer eligible for a return and is a final sale.
Do you work with progressive lenses?
Yes, we offer a number of high quality progressive lens options and would be happy to help you or answer any questions that you may have.
How long does it typically take to get used to new progressive lenses?
It may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to get used to your new progressive lenses. Vizio Optic politely requests that you give yourself 1 to 2 weeks to adjust.
What if I cannot get used to my new prescription lenses?
No problem. Vizio Optic offers a one time courtesy remake for prescription lenses. This complimentary remake is valid for 45 days from the time you receive your new glasses. Lens remakes include changes in prescription (approved by the doctor), progressive lens non-adapts, and other possible adjustments recommended by optician or optometrist. Any subsequent remakes (past the one time courtesy remake) will incur additional charges and are the customer's responsibility.
If I am not able to get used to progressives and need to switch to single vision lenses, will I be refunded for the price difference?
No credits will be provided on new lenses that are of a lesser value than the original lens purchase. Changes to the lenses following the complimentary remake will incur additional charges.
Can I get a full refund on the frame and lenses if I am unable to get used to the new prescription?
Since prescription lenses are custom made and not reusable upon return, prescription lenses are a final sale, as is the frame after the lenses are installed.
What if I need to cancel my order after the order has been shipped? (applicable to online customers)
We understand that changes may occur that can cause a cancellation of an order. Any order that has been cancelled after the item has shipped, causing Vizio Optic to reroute the package back to the store, will incur a $50 fee. This be deducted from the refund once it’s processed. Prescription lens orders, once processed are no longer refundable since all prescription lenses are custom made.
What address do I return my online order to?
All returns can be shipped back to us or brought back to Vizio Optic located at 11 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA 02445. Your refund will be processed within 72 hours of the receiving date. The refund will be processed back to the original method of payment. Return shipping costs are the customer responsibility. Any original shipping fees are not refundable.
I am ordering online from outside of the US. What do I need to know?
Vizio Optic ships with FedEx and international shipping fees are $49 USD. This does not include any taxes and duty fees that could be applied, though we do our best to avoid these fees or at least keep them to a minimum. Any return shipping costs are the customer responsibility.
